Woodheys Club Golf Society Annual Report
This year has seen a few changes to the format of our society outings, the major change is the reduction of the days to play 18 holes this is seen as a measure to encourage new members who might otherwise be unable to commit to a long day away from home. The captain for 2012 is Peter Brown who lives in Knutsford bur is a full member of the club and vice-captain is Jason Teal a resident of Burnley, this highlights a trend of recent years of less and less members from local areas to the club.
The first outing of Davyhulme Park was well attended and therefore the prospects for the rest of the season are very encouraging, fixtures for this season have been posted on the games notice board as well as above.

The Woodheys Club provides a friendly atmosphere where most members will know the majority of other members. It is easy to get to know people and develop new friendships through the many social events organsied through out the year.
